Missile Attack on Jammu Intercepted by Indian Forces Amid Citywide Blackout!

Tensions escalated dramatically on Thursday evening as Pakistan launched missiles and drones targeting Jammu, triggering a full-scale response from India’s air defense systems. Residents reported hearing multiple loud explosions, followed by air raid sirens and a sudden blackout across the city.

Local cellphone footage captured dramatic visuals of lights streaking across the night sky — likely from interception systems firing at incoming threats. Communication has been severely disrupted, with mobile networks currently down in parts of the city.

The situation isn’t isolated to Jammu. Kupwara, located over 300 kilometers away, and Pathankot also experienced similar disruptions. A blackout has been declared in Gurdaspur, Punjab, as a precaution.

Meanwhile, heavy shelling has been reported near the International Border in the Samba and Akhnoor sectors. The Indian armed forces remain on high alert as the attack continues to unfold.
